President Obama didn’t see the protesters outside the doors
President Barack Obama bravely faced down a packed town hall consisting of Teddy Ruxpin and the Care Bears yesterday. Noticeably absent were regular Americans who dislike socialism. This despite the fact that they flock in massive numbers to every other town hall meeting across the nation, and public opinion polls show a clear majority of Americans are against Obama’s health care plan. Magically, however, they were unable to show up to the town hall meeting of all town hall meetings where the man,the myth, the legend of socialized medicine and community organizing would be there to answer their questions.
A telling sign of the obvious staging was the “spontaneous” outburst of “yes,we can” from the robotic sea of sycophants. A ululation not heard since the days of the 2008 campaign,“yes,we can” is the calling card of any liberal in good standing. Given the fact that Obama’s approval rating in the latest Rasmussen poll has fallen below 50%,it is improbable that Obama could find a totally random sampling of people where there was unanimous worship of our own deity-dictator.
Among the highlights of this love fest was Obama’s statement that government-run healthcare would be a good idea because the post office is failing miserably while UPS and Fed Ex are doing fine.
