Barack Obama is on track to have the most spectacularly failed presidency since Woodrow Wilson.
In the modern era,we’ve seen several failed presidencies–led by Jimmy Carter and LBJ. Failed presidents have one strong common trait–they are repudiated,in the vernacular,spat out. Of course,LBJ wisely took the exit ramp early,avoiding a shove into oncoming traffic by his own party. Richard Nixon indeed resigned in disgrace,yet his reputation as a statesman has been partially restored by his triumphant overture to China.
But,Barack Obama is failing. Failing big. Failing fast. And failing everywhere:foreign policy,domestic initiatives,and most importantly,in forging connections with the American people. The incomparable Dorothy Rabinowitz in the Wall Street Journal put her finger on it:He is failing because he has no understanding of the American people,and may indeed loathe them. Fred Barnes of the Weekly Standard says he is failing because he has lost control of his message,and is overexposed. Clarice Feldman of American Thinker produced a dispositive commentary showing that Obama is failing because fundamentally he is neither smart nor articulate;his intellectual dishonesty is conspicuous by its audacity and lack of shame.
Thank you very much for your honesty and truth. it's outrageous the audacity of this man and what he had done or trying to do to our great country. Now he is the King of the Hill,since he took Carter's throne #1 place.
Americans will not tolerate this man's ignorance and arrogance. If not yet,this administration will soon be in free fall and there will be no one more delighted than I to see it crash! I stand alone in a large family of liberals who all gloated at O's election. It will be wonderful to watch them eat crow.
Throughout 2007 and 2008,I called Obama the "silly putty"candidate,molded out of Liberal Democratic clay and with little or no substance of his own and people thought me prejudiced or at least crazy. Fortunately,I knew of the Tides Foundation,who was behind it and what the ultimate goal was,to totally destroy our nation. Obama is just the figurehead,the token black we so often find in corporations these days,to qualify for minority preference.
