Obama declares today an “interfaith day of service,” meaning he wants Americans to pray with Muslims
Add another Obama insult to injury on 9-11. First,he desecrated the memory of 9-11 with his planned proclamation of his mandatory civilian service on 9-11,which he has designated a "National Day of Service."And now 9-11 has yet another title:State Department personnel are supposed to pray with Muslims on the newly declared "Interfaith Day of Service,"whatever that means on 9-11.
September 11,which should be a somber day of mourning and reflection (on how the hell we got here),will be a day when Obama —in a celebratory mode —makes his big announcement. The whole thing is depraved. And yes,it really is mandatory. The Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act –the GIVE Act –calls for a commission to study "whether a workable,fair,and reasonable mandatory service requirement for all able young people could be developed."
Meanwhile,an unclassified State Department "action request"encourages State officials to "consider organizing an Interfaith Day of Service in their host countries as a way to commemorate the anniversary of the tragic events of September 11,2001."
It links this to Obama’s statement during his Cairo speech to the Muslim world in June:
This is just more of the same madness that continues on and on. Before you know it,textbooks will eventually say that nothing happened on 9/11.

What is riculous is that the muslimds people are the ones that caused the 9/11 attacks,or actually the ones who did it;now obama is staying true to hids mudslim roots and having the Christians and every other form of belief pray with the muslims about and on 9/11.
Now ain't that rediculous!! Those are not the typos I typed. It won't even accept Christ in the word Christians. You know who I meant. There are no buddhians or islamians or Catholicians;especially not spelled with,let me count the stars,,,6 characters.

This just confirms my views that Obama is not good for our country –I have never been so afraid of my Government as I am now. Never have I had the desire to be so intuned to what is happening to our country as I am now. I hope more people wake up to what he is doing and how he is going to more us to Communism/Marxism. WAKE UP America,before it is too late!!

I totally agree with you. Why couldn't people see what he is before he ever got to the WHITE House. Him and his czars get scarier every day.
I have never been so afraid FOR my country as I am now,nor so afraid of what passes for our "government". I wonder if the people who voted for him ever thought what would happen IS happening. They got one thing right though:it sure is change,but that doesn't make it GOOD.
I love my Country but I fear my government has,sadly,never been more true.

We should calmly.. dispassionately.. state clearly by the millions that we can no longer recognize the authority of an unconstitutional Republic,unaccountable to media,the Supreme Court or the sacred oath. Our Marxist fascist un-american "president"doesn't even deserve to be dignified by impeachment.
Stay vigilant,Americans! I am at the point where I am sadly,not suprised at anything this President does. We must be prepared for whatever may come. I would have never believed what I am seeing with my own eyes would be happening,yet here it is.
Get over the fear. It is time to get hold of your counties and your states. They have the power to stand up and thwart the crap that the Messiah and his gang of commie thugs intend for this country. Washington DC is gone. Get your states to stop taking federal money and to stand up for what is right.
Just a note about the word Christ being deleted from the word Christians. In another post on this site,I had the same problem. I sent in a query to the Contact address,and I got a very polite response and explanation from a gentleman named "Caleb". He explained that certain words,such as "C-h-r-i-s-t"and "G-o-d"are deleted by the software in order that they are not utilised in a blasphemous manner. Apparently,the site has had a problem in thst respect. Seems fair enough to me! It may appear to be a bit over the top,but if Caleb and his colleagues are very religious people then I am sure they would be upset to see the Lord's name misused or abused. Indeed,we could do with more people like them! Eamonn,Dublin,Ireland.

It is beyond me how rep and Dem cannot see what is happening. Surely the Senate and Leg. have some compassion for their families and what the future holds for them down the road. Do they only think about now and what they get out of it. Have we become such a ME nation that its the only way we can think. Can we not look out for our future and this man has everyone in his palm and I am just amazed at the stupidity of our politicians.

Thank you for being a voice of reason. I,too,noticed the WHITE in all caps. I'm not an Obama fan (I agree with some of his stuff and disagree with some) but it seems to me that even if he were to do everything that everyone wanted him to do (obviously-not possible but just for my example's sake) people would still find a reason to piss and moan about him. Wake up America,we are allowed to disagree with one another. Isn't that the whole point of a free country? And why be such a slave to your party? There is more to the US than Dems and Reps and black and white! Closed mindedness is what makes other countries LOATH us.

ok,people are really reading into words way too much and finding their own meaning. How can you determine the intent of someone else based on broad terms. Plus,didn't God say He is not the author of fear? and that we should fear not? So,if people really believe that,then why do so many people fear muslims? As long as you know who your praying to,fear shouldnt be in vocabulary,but love will.
