Axelrod Dismisses Tea Party as Wrong

A top White House aide said Sunday that the thousands of conservative “tea party” demonstrators who marched in Washington on Saturday were “wrong” because they represent only a fringe section of society.
“I don’t think it’s indicative of the nation’s mood,” David Axelrod, the president’s top adviser, said on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “My message to them is, they’re wrong.”
A major catalyst of the rally — as well as the many protests staged at congressional town hall meetings nationwide last month — was President Obama’s push for health care reform, which conservatives have blasted as an egregious example of government expansion and intrusion.
“I don’t believe that some of the angriest, most strident voices we saw during the summer were representative of the thousands of town hall meetings that went on around the country that came off peacefully, that were constructive,” he said.

I watched a lot of the Fox coverage (as no-one else was really covering it from what I could tell) on Saturday while I was working. Kudos to all the organizers who gave of themselves.
I think it is terribly important to point out that the people who attended the tea parties across the nation and in DC were mostly “working” individuals. That should, if the government really cares, send a loud message.

I was at the march, it was great! They can dismiss us all they want, but we are NOT going away They know we were there and we will be back! It has been said that the march was the largest in history! Stay strong American Patriots! The Obama administration is going down and it ain't gonna be pretty when it happens.

I am from Boston and I attended the rally with friends of mine from New Jersey. I am a registered Democrat and had never voted for a Republican in my life. The rally was the most peaceful and positive I could ever imagine for 100's of thousands of people (or whatever the final count was).
After a life of being a Democrat and watching the party move to the left – WAY LEFT after the last two elections – I felt the most comfortable I ever have among the group of mostly conservatives. (I'll bet there were many moderate Democrats and Independents there as well.)
As a Democrat, I had been to rallies before, since it has always been the norm for Democrats. Practically every single person on my bus to the event had NEVER EVER attended a rally before. One has to imagine that something very big has happened, and is happening.

I think Mr. Axelrod is in for a schocking surprise come the next election. After Obama and the Commissars jam this health care bill up our tush, I suggest Mr. Axelrod get in line for a set of hearing aids and an eye exam. Oh,…I forgot, he is part of the "Elite" and probably has coverage for eternity under the Congressional Plan. Don't you just want to tell him to "get a real job"? I love his title: "Advisor to the Whtie House". He couldn't advise me how to dig a post hole.

Patriotic Americans, who value all that our forefathers gave us, will continue to resist and protest against those who want our country to go under to Socialism just to promote their greed for power and money. It is truly a sad day when close to 2 MIllion people show to protest, not the Black guy who is president but the tyranny being forced on us by what are the very same people who are suposed to represent us, and those same people mock us yet again. They ALL should be fired for gross negligence and dereliction of duty — and that includes the Prevaricator-in Chief. You cant blame David, he probably went to the same school as Senator Claire McCaskill of Mo. she said that Obama dit it the right way when he fired Gerald Walpin and she said that in order for the health care to save money that medicare/medicade need to stop giving out scooters to people, now I ask you don't that sound like pulling the plug on Granma, I have a scooter that I got from my insurance and medicare, I don't know what I would do with out it, you cant just walk in and say give me a scooter, there has to be a need for it.

I was there too. If Mr. Axelrod considers 1.5 to 2 million Americans a "fringe", he needs a math refesher course. That's 1% of the American people. That doesn't sound very large does it, but consider that that is the number who came to DC. There were others, many others who went to similar marches in many states. These people weren't bussed in by anyone. They came on their own ticket…by plane, by train, by bus and by automobile. I defy anyone to show such an outpouring of people for any cause before in this country. The National Park Service has stated that this is the biggest demonstration in DC history. I firmly believe that for every person there yesterday, there are 500 or more of the same mind who could not attend because of responsibilities or money or other reasons. I am so proud of my fellow countrymen who sacrifices to be there (and elsewhere) yesterday. We must keep up the pressure. YOU WILL HEAR US BARACK, NANCY, HARRY AND YOU TOO DAVID AXELROD.

Even though Obama threw the Justice Dept off the Acorn trail (and BTW the Reverend Wright trail) while stumping for the presidency, the day is coming where they will have no choice – but I have confidence they won't pursue anyway as they care not what we think in the efforts to fulfill an ant-American transformational agenda. That work Tranformational is looming larger than the galaxy – nice to have a selfish legalease lawyer with a socialist agenda in charge of this great country now ain't it? They are now estimating that over 3 million Americans attended and marched in the 9/12 March on Washington. Who cares what Axelrod says on Obama TV. They've got bigger problems on their doorstep, though, than 3 million folks on the mall. I hear the Supreme Court has said they'll hear the case concerning Obama's eligibility to be President. Think things are heating up in the White House? :)

Barack Obama's biggest problem seems to be the individuals he has chosen to associate himself with. This doesn't mean that he is a victim and is to be considered guiltless in these choices. As we look back we can certainly see a pattern that speaks to his personal ideology.
If we persist in surrounding ourselves with those who think a certain way it makes little difference what we may say. What we say isn't deemed as important as what we are perceived to think. It becomes a "Birds of a feather" situation in which we are assigned the guilt of our associations.
David Axelrod and his opinions seem to be at odds with what a majority of American citizens actually think. One can also say the same thing about Obama's other chosen associates as well as most liberal members of Congress. – Being so out of touch with the American people doesn't bode well for liberals or their party.

It was refreshing to hear so many people expressing the same frustration and unhappiness I have been feeling since 20 January 2009 with the alarming and revolting legislation being rammed down the Country's throat by bama and his thugs. The Tea PArty Express visited Blue States cities, too. Turnout at all stops was humongous. If the number of cities visited were quadrupled, the same throngs of people would show that the UNHAPPY CITIZENS of our Country are a MAJORITY, including the disillusioned many who voted for bama and the bidiot.

I watched the coverage on Fox as no one else thought that opinions not coming from Obama groupies counted. Obvioulsy I could not count the number of people that showed (I wish I had been there.) but it looked to be a heck of a lot more than just tens of thousands to have covered the entire mall.
Do a double take and check out the photos and vene Axelrod will hav eto admit that this demonstration was made up of a more than just the the "fringe" he considers so insignifact tha their voice is not worth noting!!!

Axelrod was once asked if Obama knew Wm. Ayers (the home grown terrorist). Axelrod's eyes went in every direction and he responded that he's just some guy who lives in the neighborhood and that their kids (Obama and Ayers) go to the same school. A bald face lie. Ayers kids are adults and Obama's kids are much younger. We learned later that Ayers and Obama worked together for 7 years disbursing grants to radicalize students. Also, that Ayers held a fund raiser for Obama at his home. Axelrod is a proven liar. He's not to be believed in anything he says.

It would be a grave mistake to consistently blow off the citizens who have been gathering at these so called "tea parties". Once the sleeping American Giant is awakened it can be a formidable force to be dealt with. Obama will find that he is going to have a rougher row to hoe here in the U.S. than Hitler did in post war Germany. Obama will make his move, no doubt about it and it is not going to be a pleasant experience for all involved.

Axelrod I read an article the other day claiming that you have family members who are terrorists, and I do not doubt it. Axelrod you are a piece of S–T. You, Obama, Pelosi, Reid, all the czars, your brother, RINO's and the commie-dems who ride with you all, are coming unraveled. In fact, all of you will begin turning on each other, blaming each other, pointing fingers at each other. You will begin to bring each other down. You each will covet what the other has and become irate at each other if things do not go your way. It will get so uncomfortable that each of you will begin to expose each other nationally. You'll each deliver up things hidden in secret places because it will feel like it's choking you if you don't get it off your chests. I attended the 9/12 DC Rally and was receiving emails via my iphone on up-to-the minute insider news from patriots who were working the field all over the U.S. I received word that the U.S. grounds policeman stated there were 2 MILLION attendees. That's 200,000 more than what attended the usurper's fraudulent inauguration. C-SPAN and FOXNEWS covered the entire event. C-SPAN recorded the entire rally and you can view it on C-SPAN2 tonight Sept. 14, either 8:00 or 8:30 p.m. It's unfortunate the media failed to record history in the making, but C-SPAN and FOXNEWS will share in the glory since they have this special ground breaking event recorded. Scores of many remained in their home town attending tea parties and working out on the field for our U.S. CONSTITUTION and BILL OF RIGHTS. If we include all those 9/12 home town tea parties the count would be outrageous – WE ARE A UNITED TEAM working toward ONE GOAL – TO CLEAN HOUSE AND PRESERVE OUR CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS.

continued… Today I explained the DC Rally to a Dem co-worker and converted one more to our side. I want to say thank you PATRIOTS for your hard work in whatever part you played to make this rally a reality. Save some vacation time… we're doing it again. The White House was never intended for a commie-takeover. BTW, the rally was the most peaceful gathering and so much fun too. I enjoyed every minute of it. I also noticed that we left the entire place clean. I should make it perfectly clear to members of the far side, that each person paid for their own hotel and travel arrangements to DC. They were not bussed in through any organization or union. No one filled out a form for a government handout either! I'm setting the record straight from the get go, just for those who use the Alinsky method of twisting the truth to make it a lie. Have a good week PATRIOTS, and continue CELEBRATING! WE ARE CELEBRATING! We will not hand over our celebration to foolish bullies. WE WILL NOT BE BULLIED. This is the home of the FREE and the BRAVE!

I've never been so proud of my fellow citizens. What a turnout….don't let the radicals get you down….just vow to make yourself heard. And be sure you take your neighbors to the next demonstration when your town has one….ours is on Thursday evening. Now: lets get busy demanding national photo ID cards at the voting booth for all legal citizens. You have to have ID for everything else….cashing a check, boarding a plane, why not to vote? Lets get voter fraud under control and see what the next election looks like. Mainly, lets get Acorn out of politics so people can trust the elections again. No more thugs at the polling places either.

The only reason Obama can say that he's not going to cover illegals with his health care plan, is because he plans to grant them all amnesty so they won't be illegal anymore. This administration is full of asses, who need to be ousted out of office and America. In 2010 we the people will vote them out , then lets see what axelrod says..are we still a small group. I was not able to attend the March in Washington or my town of Stuart, fl. (my daughter was having a baby), but I still kept emailing and faxing these bozos in Washington. Actually the several polls that are taken say it all. I think they really do know that the majority of Americans are against all the BS that this administration is throwing at us. I think they want a revolution…we should go ahead and give it to them.

BTW, I was there, too, and it was the most amazing event I've ever been a part of. The only rallies I've ever attended in my life prior to this were two for Sarah Palin (Richmond and Leesburg). There's nothing "fringe" about us. WE are the mainstream, Alexrod! And there are polls out there to prove that the majority of the citizenry is conservative. Talk about clueless. Or in denial. Probably the latter.

Mr. Axelrod is akin to the proverbial ostrich who hides his head in the sand hoping that we conservatives will disappear. Guess what, we will remain true to the course and it is Mr. Axelrod and his cronies will be oustered in 2010 along with the rest of the deluded White House, House & Senate gang. It is deplorable that our great country has these people in positions of leadership and advisors to the leadership.

I don't trust Obama and I certainly don't tust his mouthpieces- Axelrod. The voters are smarter than you think. Name me a Goverment run program that really works. We are fed up and will elect Constitutional representatives. If you cannot get your act together we can take up a collection for a Protologist that may be able to find your head for you.

IAM: Great writeup. I attended the Tea PArty Express Tour at Toms River New Jersey. I had a great time. Read my writeup,too. All the conservatives expressed the same frustrations with all bama and thugs dirty dealings and bama and thugs ignoring their constituents, the CITIZENS. Talk up the BADMINISTRATION. Note, bidiot is the vp.

"What can our children do for mein fuhrer bama today?" bama tried to start the indoctrination of our children, but the Country stopped him. if he had his way, the children would report like the hitler youth about their parents to "the authorities" of his intended secret police state. The Country needs to squash this BADMINISTRATION. Where is the birth certificate? Once found, that FIND of the century would prompt a special election and bounce out the BADMINISTRATION and all bama appointees. OOORRRAAHH.

I am a registered democrat and was one of the many who would love to have been in Washington on 9-12-09 but had obligations to a sick friend. Hopefully, if It happens again, I will be there to let the liberals know that the AMERICANS are fed up with their trying to control. WE THE PEOPLE are still around.
