Zelaya with his role model Chavez,Obama is working to reinstate Zelaya
The Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa erupted into demonstrations amid reports ousted president Manuel Zelaya has returned.
The interim government, led by Roberto Micheletti, issued denials that Zelaya is was the country. But the U.S. State Department confirmed Zelaya was in Honduras, and he now has shown himself to the public from the Brazilian embassy.
The latest development threatened to reignite demonstrations that broke out earlier today after reports of Zelaya’s return. Police helicopters, possibly informed that Zelaya had revealed his whereabouts, flew close to the Brazilian embassy, although the police and military seemed to be keeping some distance.
The Obama administration has shown strong support for Zelaya despite widespread criticism that the former president was leading the country down a path eerily similar to that of Venezuela under its leftist president,Hugo Chavez.
Zelaya declared he was in the capital during a broadcast today on Venezuela’government-owned Telesur network.
"I’m here in the Honduran capital,in the first place carrying out the people’will, which has insisted on my restoration,"Zelaya said.
It seems like time for Honduras to put Brazil on notice:Either see that Zelaya leaves or you (Brazil) leave. Sure sounds like international interference,to me.
Even Noriega was given up by the Catholic church in Panama when it became clear that he had no business being protected by the church. Much worse when a sovereign country attempts to get involved in the business of the nation of Honduras.
As for Obama getting involved in Zelaya's return to power as Chavez wants,my only question is why did he not get involved in the attempt of the so-called Palestinians to destroy Israel by indiscriminately launching rockets into the Israeli population? Is this not selective interference? So,the old rule dominates:Get involved if it furthers the Leftist/Socialist agenda of those in charge, mirroring the efforts of Hugo Chavez regarding Honduras.
This needs the utmost coverage to ultimately shame America's media for not covering all angles of the news. It's another proof that Obama &Company, along with the media, want to undo the Constitution since what Honduras did regarding Zelaya was uphold their Constitution. It's obvious how little regard is given to a country that only wants to follow their Constitution. Obama sees it as if there is great fear for respecting the Constitution of Honduras when they apparently do not respect our own Constitution.
Somehow in here is a pattern developing.
I would imagine that Obama would support this Chavez-type of takeover because he has the same thing planned for the United States. After he and the Liberal power players have succeeded in taking over every section of our society, the only logical move would be to have himself made leader for life. I wonder which one of his daughters will follow him as dictator?
Obama and his administration can be in bed with all the evil people they want to because we're not going to let them win. Obama is suppose to protect our country but instead he wants to ruin it. What i don't understand is why are the people in congress putting up with this? I know he threatens them if they don't agree with him but the ones that take up for us are the ones who will be put in office at election time.
This is so rediculous –He interferes with Brazil when it's obvious that Zelaya is another Chavez but won't help Iran when it's obvious that someone needs to dump Amadinajad…Doesn't everyone realize that Obama really does want a change? And not for the good –Remember he said "America is the greatest country in the world and I want to change that."Helllo? Is it true that he is trying to squash information on the Internet?
