How can Obama give a binding signature to a treaty that has not even been considered by the U S Congress? Does a president really have such sweeping power? Where is the "balance of power" re three branches of government, executive, lawmaking, and judicial?
I am outraged that such a treaty is being considered and will consider it treason if it is signed!

Rebecca assessed this correctly. Given Obama is not following our checks & balances, how can anything he signs be valid?
My "fantasy" is that the Birth Certificate Trials proceed and he is declared ineligible. But our Justice system is most questionable. Impeachment is the next best approach but that didn't work for Clinton.
We are in a major disaster!

Article II Section 2 requires that all International treaties be ratified by 2/3 of the U.S. Senate, but an international treaty is irreversible. That's not much protection for a treaty that could have permanent devastating effects to the USA. We need to bombard our senators with NO on this in addition to NO on this massive expansion of bureaucracy -Obamacare, amnesty, card check, and Cap and tax, net neutrality and on and on and on. Government needs to STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY, AND TAKING AWAY OUR LIBERTIES.

It would be a treasonous act with no approval of the Congress or the Senate. This man is like a steam engine going down the track fast. He's railroading us at every turn. He needs to be impeached and ran out of town. "OOO" is against America by his actions on a daily basis.

What blows my mind is, how can this one man who may not be legal in the first place sign a paper that has not been ratified and suppose to be representing America; when he does not represent us one iota? Who is this man?
I've written to our representatives about all this today. They better do something.

This is a bloodless coup. Are we going to sit back and let this maniac proceed to destroy us. Remember, if he signs that Treaty and we impeach the traitor, then China will come after us for the debt………we are boxed in…..Our only recourse is that the California Judge is a conservative and not fearful of any threats. If Obama is declared a fraud and his election declared invalid, then everything that he signed while in office including the debt to China will be declared invalid…That is when we proceed to impeach Pelosi, Reid, Biden and the rest of the democrats that so willingly supported this regime. God help us. Pray hard that the Eligibility Lawsuit is a victory!

I suggest you go up to the Url that gimmeabreak posted 4 hrs ago. I read through what came up on that Url. I don't totally understand it all..but I would wager to say that what was said by this Brit isn't what it sounded like. I think we should keep a careful eye on Obama..but the way I read it, Obama does not have the authority on his own to sign a treaty giving up U.S. sovereignty. Please do go to that Url & hopefully that will stop all this talk. I'm not making light of it..just feel we just go overboard when we don't understand all the facts, that's all.

wow i have read what everyone is writting. I am currently attending a class called constitutional law you can also research constitutional law on line If I understand correctly there is a thing called checks and balances and it basically means that not one branch of government can make a descision to change are ways in the united states with out 2 of the 3 agreeing. Obamha can be over ruled by our government. I do not believe our country was ready for a black president. I also feel we werent ready for a female president. Obamah is not even our presidents birth name for those that didn't know. I think that we have to much drama in our own country we do not tend to but all the other countries we help get there drama fixed by us first. Anyone ever stop to think about our own poverty its on an all time high what is our wonderful loving president doing about that not much some but its not enough. Kennedy was the last true "people's" president. They killed him as a result. Every president since has been saying and planning the same thing… the New World Order. First, weaken us financially by hurting our economy, causing loss of jobs, etc… increase homeless, increase unemployment, etc… this way we will stress and break down mentally and emotionally. We also can not be effective without money to maintain good health, money to raise large families, money to gather weapons and other resources.

But isn't it so hard to understand all the facts given the way this administration is taking things on? Cash for clunkers absolutely killed small business (me). Not to mention cars that were turned in on the program didn't necessarily get poor gas mileage. I'm going to be outrageously taxed because of where my tax bracket falls with my business, and now I'm not only going to pay for my health care but for everyone else's that already receives a free check! You're right we don't need to over react but we need to start reacting before the damage is done permanently. If everyone around you has a bad feeling that things are getting out of control it's time to start thinking seriously that they may be right. Especially those who are already feeling the affects of this administration directly.
