Is Barack Obama Anti-American?

Everything has a fundamental essence, a quality that makes it uniquely itself. Take an orange, for example. It’s not only a citrus fruit — it’s an orange-colored citrus fruit. Horticulturists can alter its size, its texture, its sweetness, and even (to a limited extent) its color, but as long as its color is orange, the fruit remains "an orange" because that color is its definition. Change the color, however, and suddenly you have the un-orange, the anti-orange. You have something completely different that no longer contains the essence of the original fruit. Lose the essence and you lose the orange.
America has an essence too, and that essence is liberty. Since its inception, America has been defined by liberty — both the liberty of the individual and the liberty of the nation. As the Declaration of Independence more elegantly states, "Goverments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed." If we, the people make a social compact by which we consent to be governed, it means that government is our servant, not our master. Lincoln understood that ours is a nation boasting a "government of the people, by the people[, and] for the people."
This uniquely American precept, one that sees the power of government flowing from the people rather than controlling the people, ideally results in a situation in which citizens are subject to minimal government constraints. As the Founders envisioned American government, the state exists to optimize individual freedoms, not to control the individual.
To this end, once the Founders delineated our government’s structure in the Constitution — a structure that grants the government only specifically enumerated powers and ensures that no single branch of the government can become dominant — the Founders immediately turned their attention to the individual freedoms enshrined in the Bill of Rights. Each of these rights is intended to optimize the citizen’s power against his (or her) own government.

this individual called obama simply must be removed from office by any means available, either peacefully or by extreme force. if the american people do not value their freedom enough to take immeadiate action against this individual then they derserve what they get. the unfortunate part of that equation is that they are taking the rest of us who do value or freedomdown with them. this individual is destroying america point by point right out of the democratic parties playbook and the american people don't appear to care. i am frankly ashamed of my fellow americans for allowing this idiot to run rampant over our rights. the people have the power so i beg my fellow americans, let's stop this idiot before he totally destroys a once great nation.

I agree 100% to what Tom said we can do something now if someone that has the knowledge to come forth with what they know about his birth Certificate and records of college whoever paid for his college knows all this but they are democrats they are exil just like obama he hates our GREAT CONSTITUTION and the USA just listen to his so called pastor jeremiah wright

We ALL knew, BEFORE his election, that Obama had listened to the raving and ranting of Rev. Wright for twenty some years. Those of us who were 'paying attention' didn't vote for him. Why anyone would vote for a man who would sit in a 'church' and listen to someone damn America is beyond me! Unless, of course, they feel the same way. Or perhaps they were just 'blinded by his light' and believed him when he said "the Rev. Wright of today is not the same man I knew". Yeah, right!

Those that listened to ABC, CNN, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC they did not know all this stuff because those evil news agency did not let the People know because they all were in the tank for obama they should now go to FOX NEWS to get the TRUTH about what is happening that is why obama was able to fool these People who are sorry they voted for obama now

Tom, Sadie: Agreed to the evil intent of the bama/rahma badministration. bama is anti-America in all aspects. he is a disgrace. he is pro-anything against our Constitution and the U.S. he is muslim, not Christian, and muslim intent is world domination. Look at muslim growing population in our Country and the entire globe. Vote Them (demoncrats) OUT may be our only recourse, as the pelosi twit is also in self-destruct of our Country. Let's get disclosed the find of the century: the bama birth certificate and all school/education documents to bounce the ineligible savior bama. That accomplished, all bama appointees are OUT, all legislation signed is NULL AND VOID, and a special presidential election of eligible candidates verified by the Supreme Court (less the ignominious sotomayor) is required for all candidates PRIOR to getting any nomination for the Presidency…Constitutional amendment to prevent this situation any more.

When will Americans wake up to the fact that that a deep seated malevilence
exists between President Obama, his czars and everything America has ever stood for. When will our troops be given the tools to do the job they wish to do ? The only uniform he has ever donned has been that of an Indonesian boyscout.

I agree 100%. I keep asking how this person with a clear disdain for America and everything we stand for can be President. We need to be in the streets protesting and yet I feel we can not do anything I am amazed he gets away with all these policies he has forced on us.
The latest thing with NASA and the muslims should be the straw that breaks the horses back.

We as americans are as much to blame for putting the shiek in the WH as the democrats and acorn.
It is not late to wake up and take the necessary steps in November to get the pendulem swinging in Americas direction again.
I implore everyone to get out on the streets and display your patriotism for our country.
The only way these socialist will be beaten is for Amricams to rise up and proclaim enough is enough go to every DEM rally and raise the American flag high and shout them off the stage.
