Health care reform should not be used as an opportunity to use federal funds to pay for elective abortions. Health reform should be an opportunity to protect human life –not end it.
Unfortunately,Speaker Pelosi’s 2,032-page government takeover of health care does just that. On line 17,p. 110,section 222 under “Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed” the Health and Human Services Secretary is given the authority to determine when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan. The Speaker’s plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions.
What is even more alarming is that a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan. It’s right there on line 16,page 96,section 213,under “Insurance Rating Rules.” The premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account –and these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.
Section 213 describes the process in which the Health Benefits Commissioner is to assess the monthly premiums that will be used to pay for elective abortions under the government-run plan. The Commissioner must charge at a minimum $1 per enrollee per month.
I find it saddly ironic and regret that Speaker Pelosi's mother was a true practicing catholic whereas clearly she is not…had her mother been pro-choice,America's healthcare suystem as well as our financial and economic sovereignty would not then be at such risk!
Pelosi is probably worse than Obama. She has run amuck with a craze for POWER.
As an American and one who believes in right to life for the unborn I am deeply offended that these idiots would kill children and send me the bill for the bullets.

What do you suppose would happen if every American,who's still employed,simply stopped paying taxes? There are not enough courts to sue us in an expedient manner,there are not enough Obama-cops to get all of us out of our homes in an expedient manner and there are not enough jails to house us….period. …Forget the expedient:the government does nothing in an expedient fashion. I refuse to pay one penny into this debacle they call a health care plan. I'd gladly spend my prison time at Club GITMO,they get the best of everything down there and I could work on my tan since I don't have time now working two jobs.
Sadly ,I go to a United Methodist church that says nothing about this bill. Why is the church that represents God NOT speaking up for the unborn ? Do Christians care or are they too busy going to church ?
