Dramatic defeat for Obama as Senate Dems ‘drop public option’ from healthcare reform

Barack Obama’s plans to reform American healthcare been dealt a massive blow after Democrats in the Senate appear to have dropped plans for an NHS-style insurance scheme in the U.S.
Plans for the government-run health insurance scheme seem to have been dropped last night in a bid to ease reform through Washington.
Under a deal stuck late yesterday, the so-called public option part of proposed legislation was jettisoned, in favour of a non-profit private alternative overseen by a federal agency.
Mr Obama’s hopes for a public option dominated domestic politics in America over the summer, turning healthcare into a massive priority – almost bigger than the economy.
His popularity plunged over the issue as violence broke out in town hall meetings across the country on the subject.
The compromise will disappoint advocates of having a government-run scheme in place to compete with insurers and drive down costs.

I think the solution lies in the American people banding together and peacefully marching on the white house, senate and house and taking our country back. They can't stop 100,000 people marching on Washington. We peacefully march into the oval office and notify obama that he has been discharged from the office of President and is being replaced, let it be know that he has till the end of the day to get himself and his family out. Then we march onto the floors of the senate and the house with same message, your all out, vacate the premises by the end of the day your being replaced. Then put a new government in place that is dedicated to the best interests of the American people. It is not complicated and the people need to understand that those folks in Washington are afraid of the American people because they can't stop us if we decide to take our country back.

You can say that again TaterSalad. He did absolutely NOTHING in the Senate as a senator. It's a puzzle how he became President at all. But don't underestimate his intentions. He knows exactly what he's doing to destroy America piece by piece. But good thing we're all wising up to his schemes that are Marxist "spread the wealth", Socialist & communist. The American people are smarter than "OOO" took us for.

I understand obama is going to declare marshall Law after he signs Health Care bill Everyone of you need to go to http://www.youtube.com and look under Fema camps to see these big Caskets that a whole Family can go him and I am told they have millions in these 800 Fema Camps in the USA and you know they have some purpose for all these caskets Something needs to be done before obama declares marshall Law he needs to be impeached
