“Stop frightening the people!”
President Barack Obama told House Republican leaders to "stop trying to frighten the American people"even as he and Democrats said they see a possibility for bipartisan cooperation on job creation legislation.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) told reporters that Obama made the admonition during a bipartisan meeting at the White House on Wednesday, producing a chart to show Republicans that "things are a lot better."
Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said there was broad agreement on their side of the aisle about how to create jobs by aiding small businesses and boosting infrastructure spending. Pelosi said she thinks on those issues,"it’s possible for us to find some common, bipartisan ground."
But moments later,Republicans made it clear that they want to see a "spending freeze"and a "no-cost"jobs plan that consists largely of tax cuts.
I think the solution lies in the American people banding together and peacefully marching on the white house, senate and house and taking our country back. They can't stop 100,000 people marching on Washington. We peacefully march into the oval office and notify obama that he has been discharged from the office of President and is being replaced, let it be know that he has till the end of the day to get himself and his family out. Then we march onto the floors of the senate and the house with same message, your all out, vacate the premises by the end of the day your being replaced. Then put a new government in place that is dedicated to the best interests of the American people. It is not complicated and the people need to understand that those folks in Washington are afraid of the American people because they can't stop us if we decide to take our country back.
Tom is right in that we the people are in charge, and only we the people can change how things are done. however to try to march into the White House would give the president just cause to call on the military to impose marshal law. There would be bloodshed that we do not want want and certainly do not need. Yes the "folks"in Washington do need to be in fear of the American people. But that is because unlike the last 80 years,we are going to hold them accountable for their actions. We are going to put those who deserve it in jail,we are going to fire those who need to be fired at the polls.
We must insist on term limits, politicians will have to live on S.S. like the rest of us,they can not vote on any legislation they can not quote front to back from memory. They will impose new tax law with fixed rates, and can not spend or borrow more than they take in without a national referendum. They will restore any and all business to private ownership. They will get their noses out of our health care and unions. They will come home after every legislative session and give accounting for what they voted on. They will say the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of AMERICA including the line about under God. Every day. They will remove all illegals from the streets and determine stay or go on a case by case investigation basis.
Our President shall not under penalty of treason, bow to any head of state of another country, shall not admit to any wrong doing on the part of U.S.of A. military or governmental agency. Nor shall he spend more than ten days per year out of country. Except if vacationing. He will administer the laws of this country, not write them,or lobby for them. He is a figure head in almost every respect. He shall only hold office two consecutive terms and unless his V.P is different in his second term from the first, the V.P. can not run for office the term immediately following his two terms as V.P. I am just getting started, you get the idea though.
