Obama fear Mongers for Healthcare Bill
By Karen Travers, ABC
President Obama told ABC News’ Charles Gibson in an interview that if Congress does not pass health care legislation that will bring down costs, the federal government “will go bankrupt.”
The president laid out a dire scenario of what will happen if his health care reform effort fails.
“If we don’t pass it, here’s the guarantee….your premiums will go up, your employers are going to load up more costs on you,” he said. “Potentially they’re going to drop your coverage, because they just
can’t afford an increase of 25 percent, 30 percent in terms of the costs of providing health care to employees each and every year. “
The president said that the costs of Medicare and Medicaid are on an “unsustainable” trajectory and if there is no action taken to bring them down, “the federal government will go bankrupt.”
“This actually provides us the best chance of starting to bend the cost curve on the government expenditures in Medicare and Medicaid,” Obama said.

Where were you critics when he was running for office? A look at his record, associations with Left wing radicals, negative comments about our Constitution, analysis of his speech patterns, off the teleprompter remarks, attempts to play the facilitator role during debates, all revealed his lack of qualifications to be a steward of American values, protector of our liberties, and continued prosperity.

People on both sides of this debate seem to continually miss the point of the debate, and to be ageist for moment, they forget the younger generation completely. The old are the ones who have the greatest voting power and who are the most engaged in this issue. So many of them don't want to have to pay anything that doesn't benefit them directly, but by ignoring this bill and trying to wipe it under the rug, they in turn are denying themselves potential savings as well. The plan is looking to regulate existing private insurance, to cease the denying claims, and actually stabilize deductibles. While the public option, note the word "option", would simply offer a plan to those who cannot afford any insurance
I found an article that really gave good insight into the current debate. It was written by doctors and medical professionals, and just delivers some good facts and statistics about health care.

There are so many aspects that need to changed, but everyone needs to look outside of their own bubble first.
