Harry Reid’s bribery may be unconstitutional
Organizations and lawmakers opposed to the health care reform package are getting their legal briefs in a bunch,threatening to challenge the constitutionality of the sweeping overhaul should it make its way to President Obama’s desk.
Republicans have agreed to allow the Democratic-led Senate to move up the time for a final vote to 8 a.m. Thursday so that lawmakers and their staff can go home for Christmas. But GOP supporters aren’t backing down on their threats to put a stop to the legislation using whatever legal means possible.
Two key issues seem to be attracting the bulk of the legal threats:a mandate for individuals to purchase health insurance and the special treatment that states like Nebraska are getting in the bill.
On the first issue,Sen. John Ensign,R-Nev.,on Tuesday renewed the call to examine the constitutionality of whether the federal government can require Americans to purchase a product.
I fully support any legal action against those Senators or Congressmen who accepted goods,services,money ,etc. to assist them in making a decision about the proposed federal health care program.. The citiczens of the USA have spoken as being dissatisfied with the programs. Geoorge Abbott
After the New Years we are most likely to see many charges being brought against the Senate and this outrageous bill. We need to get behind all of the people who bring them and support them.
Obviously they care nothing about the constitution. They represent no one but themselves and with deaf ears push their Marxist agenda. Everyone of these criminals should be tried and detained starting with usurper Obama and Poloci.
We need a good size boat to ship these commies to Cuba where they can enjoy their utopia under Castro.

I am in agreement with all of you that have added your comments and replies. This Healthcare Bill and how the Liberals have passed it,is extremely illegal and unconstitutional. They do NOT care about this country and the people in it. They have shown us,"WE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE",that they only see as far as the end of their own nose,political career and pocketbook. They don't even care about their own children,grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I live in the state of Nevada,Harry Reid is a total disgrace to the state of Nevada and the USA. Reid,Poloski Obama and others should take the first flight out of this country and go to a country where they fit in,Iran would be a good choice! Hi,I am a guest with this thought:Can't we just get rid of these senators and rep's. Let's give everyone in the country a computer with keys "Yes""No."Think of all the money we would save (medical,dental,allowances,trips abroad with families,the list goes on).
I shutter to think what will come if we do not get rid of these crooks. The corruption and bribery going on here unchecked and being bragged about in front of the TV Cameras as if this felonious behavior is some kind of badge of heroism! Do you hear that Mary L.,Ben N,Joe L.? This power grab is nothing more than that! This legislation has little if anything to do with protecting the public or reducing costs. And what are they doing about the absolute unnecessary costs of tort problems? Nothing!
