It’s payback time for Obama
The Obama administration is rallying allies to push for a package with better border security and a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants now in the U.S. The effort is sure to be a tough sell.
With the healthcare battle still unfinished,the Obama administration has been laying plans to take up an issue that could prove even more divisive —a major overhaul of the nation’s immigration system.
Senior White House aides privately have assured Latino activists that the president will back legislation next year to provide a path to citizenship for the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants living in the United States.
In a recent conference call with proponents,White House Deputy Chief of Staff Jim Messina,political director Patrick Gaspard and others delivered the message that the White House was committed to seeing a substantial immigration bill pass and wanted to make sure allies were prepared for the fight.
In addition to the citizenship provision,the emerging plan will emphasize efforts to secure U.S. borders against those trying to cross illegally. But that two-track approach was rejected repeatedly in the past by Republicans and other critics who insist that a border crackdown must demonstrate its effectiveness before any action on citizenship is considered.

Couldn't agree more. The elections in 2010 are imperative.
We all know why "OOO"and the DEMS want amnesty so bad. They're counting on the voter base to be in their favor. Their intent is so against us all who have worked hard all our life. They're planning to hand citizenship to illegals on a golden platter. This is going to bankrupt America even more.

We all must remember how the “heath bill”is being force on the American People due to the Dems having the majority in congress. I believe any illegal immigrants bill will also be force through the senate and house in the same fashion due to the fact our government believe they “knows better”what is good for the American people then they the American people know themselves. What makes this country so great is the fact in how Americans think for themselves. Fall and rise on their own merit. That the government is for the people and by the people. That Americans know this great land is build on the sweat and sacrifice of all those who believe and support the constitution and the bill of rights. All Americans know that we need government but this same government stand behind the American people and not in front of it. That day government ever feels it “knows better”then it’s people is the day our dreams of a great better and freer United States will fail and end in shame. We can’t allow this to happen! We all have one voice and should shout it loud and clear when we go to vote this year. That the government of this great nation should always be for the people and by the people and never it’s master. For all those in Washington who has refused to listen to the people should hear that message loud and clear when we all go to vote in this year of 2010. No true American will allow any bill passage to be force down our throats without a negative reaction when each of us go to vote this year.
