My head explodes, thinking that just one person with the scratch of a simple ink pen can rob us all of our personal rights ~ a situation that our founding fathers certainly never would have intended. Shockingly, as you point out so eloquently, "Obama picked the holiday season to make this radical change, to minimize media coverage." Revelations such as this should spark concern deep within the heart of every decent American.

Obama is here to stay. All we can do is to make sure he does not
get elected next term.
People need to get involved and vote.

My inlaws in Oklahoma may see 2degrees tonite. That global warming

Yes,as did every President but Ronald Reagan.
I hate terrorists as most Americans do,but what most people dont know
is that ANY President can claim that an American citizen is an un official
enemy comb and have them reduced to a non person with no rights. They
can be waterboarded..placed into secret prisons,etc…without due process.
Denied a lawyer.(Patriot Act).
A frame work welded by fear of terrorism,the economy and healthcare is
awaiting a 'trigger' to be implementted.
Our founding fathers were un official enemy combatents.
The left is destroying the economy,while the right has made it possible to
torture,kidnap,etc all who would wish to rebel.

I am from Texas as well. Once into the oil thingy,now a poker player.
Anyway,If you check out what the 'progressive movement is really about you should not be suprised.
There is change and then there is fundamental change.
If I want to change my house,I can paint it. Put in a pool,etc.
If I want to 'fundamentally' change my home,I must tear it down the the
foundation.
Obama wanted to fundamentally change the US.
So do the group of white power elite behind him.
These 'power elite chose a black man so that any detractors would be labled 'racist'.
Bush,Clinton,Obama are all progressives who want a one world
government.

I am an American and an independant conservative. Both Bush and Obama are on the same page. Both are progressives. Bush and Obama
want open borders,one world government,etc.
I want the government of our founding fathers. Period!

What Americans need to do is to fully research 'progressive'.
Both Bushes,Clinton and Obama are progressives. I once thought
that progressive was the opposite of regressive. It seemed like a 'happy' term. Then I researched the movement. Adolf Hitler was
a progressive. It is bi partisan. "New World Order". One world
government.
Where would you find legal recourse? Both houses and the Supreme
Court are full of progressives. Also,an attorney told me that the only
way to take action would be only if I was personally injured. ie. an
interpol operative steped on my civil rights.
70% of the legislation passed by the legislature is unconstitutional.
The health bill,most of the patriot act,unveted tsars.
The Patriot Act was passed via the panic on 9/11. The concervatives are
all for waterboarding,cameras at every intersection,etc.
The crash of the housing market,stock market,etc., galvanized the lunitic fringe of the left behind take overs of private business,TARP,
any and all bills which villifies successful people and business.
Elements in both the right and left have used fear to destroy the rights of American.
