Obama’s ratings state by state show he would lose in a landslide if today was Election Day

Obama has lost touch with average Americans

If today was Election Day 2012 Barack Obama would lose in a major landslide according to the very latest state by state polling numbers. With nine months for his fortunes to get worse and every indication that he’ll do exactly the things that have caused his plunging poll numbers thus far Obama is shaping up to be a millstone around Democrats necks this November and in 2012.

In several states Obama won in 2008,worth 155 Electoral College votes, his approval numbers indicate he would lose. With Obama’s winning percentage over John McCain listed first those states are:

Colorado:54/45 approve/disapprove 47/52 worth 9 Electoral Votes

Florida:51/48 approve/disapprove 42/58 worth 27 Electoral Votes

Indiana:49.8/48.8 approve/disapprove 43/56 worth 11 Electoral Votes

Iowa:54/44 approve/disapprove 44/54 worth 7 Electoral Votes

Michigan:57/41 approve/disapprove 48/50 worth 17 Electoral Votes

Nevada:55/43 approve/disapprove 45/50 worth 5 Electoral Votes

North Carolina:49.7/49.4 approve/disapprove 48/52 worth 15 Electoral Votes

Ohio:51/47 approve/disapprove 46/54 worth 20 Electoral Votes

Pennsylvania:54/44 approve/disapprove 46/53 worth 21 Electoral Votes

Virginia:53/46 approve/disapprove 44/54 worth 13 Electoral Votes

Wisconsin:56/42 approve/disapprove 46/54 worth 10 Electoral Votes

Obama even loses to “unnamed” on a ballot

This doesn’t guarantee disenchanted Obama votes would vote for McCain, but it comes pretty close to it.

A recent Wenzel poll found just 44% of voters would vote for Obama if given a chance for a “do over” while another 45% would vote for an unnamed opponent.
