Obama has issued a three year moratorium on oil drilling
The Obama administration’s six-month delay in approving new offshore drilling leases in federal waters will become a new three-year ban,Interior Secretary Ken Salazar quietly told reporters last Friday. Which means that no new oil and gas leases will be approved during President Obama’s term even though two –thirds of the American public supports such activity,according to a December 2009 Rasmussen poll.
Sixty percent also believe that gas and oil prices will drop if the government allows offshore drilling,opening up an estimate 14 billion barrels of oil and 55 trillion cubic feet of natural gas
On July 14,2008 President George W. Bush lifted an executive ban on Outer Continental Shelf leasing. On October 1,2008,in a bipartisan agreement,Congress lifted another longstanding ban on new oil and gas leasing in the OCS.
Drilling was supposed to begin this July. But Salazar said he intends to discard the 2010-2015 lease plan developed by the Bush administration in favor of a new plan that won’t even go into effect until 2012.
Can anyone out there recall any other president that was so determined to do just the opposite of what the American people want? I can't.
NOPE! I guess that is because he is not an AMERICAN! He has his own agenda,with his own cronies (all not elected into office) and then he has the secret promises he made as he was on his apology tour for America. It saddens me that there are still many Americans that think he is a "good"President. I want what they are smoking!! Why is the media giving this president a free pass on everything wrong that he is doing,such as:hiding his real birth certificate;surrounding himself withan administration full of evil people;forcing his will on America,against the will of wee the people;lying so consistently? Can only be because they are as anti-American as he is –and are doing their part to destroy us from within –just like happened to the Romans.
There needs to be a LOUD outcry for his impeachment –as well as for all the liberal politicians! How long is the republican party going to keep quiet?
If you are looking for examples of a "leader"with such obvious disdain for the constituency you will need to look outside the United States. Maybe try Russia,Yugoslavia or Checkslovokia before they became part of the USSR. Or perhaps in today's world Hugo Chavez or even Fidel Castro in his younger days. Don't forget W,given a little more time and he could have fit the bill

Obama is a socialist who has his followers who want to destroy our country. Americans have to wake up and see what is going on. We are losing our freedoms and possibly ours and our childrens lives to this dictator. Senators were to give permission for the czars and others Obama has hired but they weren't asked. Obama just gave them jobs. There is something "fishy"about his birth place and etc,otherwise why wouldn't he release this information.
