So much for making America popular again….
The special relationship is over. We gave America years of unwavering support after September 11. And now we see how Barack Obama’s administration repays us.
First,Obama declared that America was “neutral” over the sovereignty of the Falklands,ignoring the clear wishes of the islands’ population. And,second,his Assistant Secretary of State,Philip Crowley,snubbed Britain by failing to use their proper name and instead calling them the “Malvinas”.
I don’t know where Obama learned about diplomacy,but his stinks. I’m normally pro-American,but Mr Obama’s seeming support for Argentinian aggressors,who have no legitimate claim over the Falklands,is gratuitously offensive. So from today,I’m boycotting America as a tourist destination. This summer,I’ll be going to France,not California.
Let me be clear:I’m not normally in favour of boycotts,and I love the American people. I holiday in their country regularly,and hate the tedious snobby sneers against the United States. But the American people chose to elect an idiot who seems hell bent on insulting their allies,and something must be done to stop Obama’s reckless foreign policy,before he does the dirty on his allies on every issue.
Mr. Singleton,I understand completely. I am an American and I think what our President is doing stinks to high heaven. Believe me,alot of Americans do not like what he has done to our best allies.

Being an American –I am deeply ashamed of our current administration –and embarrassed that our friends and allies look at us as foolish. Believe me,there are many,many of us who saw this man for what he was before the election and did not vote for him. Please help us to rid ourselves of this insanity by being very outspoken about what is true to your countrymen and women. Please keep us in your prayers that what is good and right and true will prevail. Please also know that we,the people of the United States,love and care about our friends overseas. Evil is trying to over run our country and we are fighting for our very existence!!
I agree completely. Obama is an idiot,a self-styled constitutional authority who is probably too illiterate to read and understand our Constitrution without the help of a teleprompter. Obama,the typical product of a dysfunctional single parent family,has insulted PM Brown,Poland and Czechoslovakia,Germany by refusinmg to appear at the wall memorial,etc. Hpwever,he admires Chavez(who has nop use for him) and CAstro whom he seeks to emulate. The only hoppe for America is his ultimate impeachment. He is surrounded by foolls like himself including Pelosi,Reid,and his worthless press secretary,uh,uh,uh Gibbs. God save America from this tyrant.
Me too,on all of the above. This sneering little,ah,fill in the blank,is deeply troubling and embarrassing on so many levels,not least the international one:Please do believe that many of us have been cringing at every back-handed,clumsy,ignorant insult that B.O. throws at the British. (This makes cringing nearly a full-time job…) Guess he's not a big Anglo-Saxon,is he? I vacation in your country too (I'm writing from London),and receive the Telegraph at home,and was very sorry to read your comment (true and justified though it is). Try to remember also that 48% of us voted for the other guy (who,however,didn't put up much of a fight). I myself live in Chicago,and sent my kids to the same school the little O dears went to,and knew perhaps earlier than others might have been able to that we were dealing with a scumbag;but we were unable to prevail numerically over hordes of teenagers,self-deluding idiots,and–well,others.
I am completely disgusted &embarrassed of how this administration is treating our friends &allies,not to mention our own people ! I hope that our
friends abroad can see through this outrageous performance &believe that this is not how TRUE AMERCANS feel about our worldwide friends.
This is a sad time for the USA –we are under attack from within . We will pull out of this,we will return to our former self- I believe the TRUE AMERICAN public is in a state of shock- we cannot believe that this is happening to us!
We have been so comfortable for so long,we don't know how to handle this,this is new territory.
But,WE WILL PREVAIL!

Please don't completely boycott America for you vacation Mr. Singleton…come to Destin,Florida on the Emerald Coast. It has beautiful waters and white sugar sand. Oh another great thing about this area NW Florida…we are NOT Obama fans at all! And then,the area could use extra visitors since the unemployment rate has soared thoughout the state.
Obama is a Marxist Bigot. He simply hates the USA. Obama made his mark throwing rocks at America as a self described Community Organizer…in other words a Marxist Rabble Rouser. Obama was educated as a child and in the streets by self-avowed Marxists and Communists. At Harvard he learned to hate the restrictive nature of the U. S. Constitution that restricts government preferring the Soviet Constitution instead. Obama also despises the Europeans,especially the Brits,but loves the idea of Euro-Socialism to enslave the successful Americans he so despises. It’s ironic that President Abraham Lincoln came from Illinois to free the slaves and the first black president came from Illinois to enslave everyone.
