Video:NAACP President at Racist Shirley Sherrod Speech?

from Gateway Pundit by Jim Hoft

On Monday July 19th,video was released of Georgia Director of Rural Development Shirley Sherrod admitting in a speech at an NAACP banquet in March that she discriminated against farmers because of their race. Sherrod was appointed last year by Obama’s Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack. After the video was released, where Sherrod told NAACP members that she refused to fully assist a white farmer because of his race, the Obama Administration forced her to resign.

Following the release of this inflammatory tape NAACP President Ben Jealous released a statement denouncing not only the racist remarks by Shirley Sherrod but also the reaction of the crowd to her speech. NAACP President Ben Jealous even promised to look into the disturbing behavior of those in attendance.

“Since our founding in 1909,the NAACP has been a multi-racial,multi-faith organization that– while generally rooted in African American communities– fights to end racial discrimination against all Americans.

We concur with US Agriculture Secretary Vilsack in accepting the resignation of Shirley Sherrod for her remarks at a local NAACP Freedom Fund banquet.

Racism is about the abuse of power. Sherrod had it in her position at USDA. According to her remarks, she mistreated a white farmer in need of assistance because of his race.

We are appalled by her actions, just as we are with abuses of power against farmers of color and female farmers.

Her actions were shameful. While she went on to explain in the story that she ultimately realized her mistake,as well as the common predicament of working people of all races, she gave no indication she had attempted to right the wrong she had done to this man.

The reaction from many in the audience is disturbing. We will be looking into the behavior of NAACP representatives at this local event and take any appropriate action.

We thank those who brought this to our national office’s attention…

But,President Jealous forgot to mention one thing.
He may have been at the event.

If you listen to the Sherrod’s speech at Annual NAACP Freedom Fund Dinner in Georgia in March you’ll here her thank her guests and…
“The President who is with us tonight.”
(0:45 seconds into the speech)

This story has always been about the racism that is shown in the NAACP audience when they clap and cheer while Shirley Sherrod tells her story about mistreating a white farmer. If President Ben Jealous was in the audience,it only goes more to show how racism is a constant and insidious companion of the NAACP.

HOW CAN THEY TALK ABOUT GIVING HER HER JOB BACK? SHE IS A RACIST KENYAN AND IS PROBBLY HERE ILLEGALY. HER STORY DOESNT MAKE SENSE. WHY WOULD A WHITE FARMER COME TO A KENYAN FOR HELP ANYWAY. THERES A LOT OF LYING GOING ON HERE. MY FAMILY LOST THERE FARM TWENTY YRS AGO AND WE WOULD NEVER HAVE GONE TO A KENYAN FOR HELP.

Keep praying. God is listening. Pray for deeds of darkness to continue to be exposed. This is a racist organization, pure and simple. They want revenge on white people. From Michelle Obama to Louis Farakkhan to Jesse Jackson to Al Sharpton to Barack Obama–they all are hateful, bitter people towards all white folks. They are the ones clinging to their bitterness, espousing theft through redistribution. Why don't they all just WORK like all the rest of Americans do? The opportunities are there! Ask Thomas Sowell,Lloyd Marcus,Herman Cain, and Bill Cosby! Don't wallow in bitterness;become a success the old-fashioned way:work! This woman's comments are disgraceful.

I have to admit that i am a little
    concerned about bloggers like
    Andrew Breitbart,who are creating
    misleading videos based on dishonest
editing of video material. I believe that
it was Breitbart who circulated the manufactured
video that smeared that Acorn office in California.

I've noticed a number of our reports in the past
few weeks that have played with the truth.

We don't need to resort to lies when we have
the truth on our side. We know that there is an
alien pretender in our White House, that he is
a practising Muslim and a Marxist radical,
that he hates America and white people and
is fostering a race war for his own purposes.

So let's stick to what we know, and keep the liars out of our party.

what lies? explain the counterpoints which show them to be lies, otherwise its just your opinion, just as the "lies"are theirs.

Its clear that Breitbart used only a few seconds of
a 40 minute speech to create an impression of racism
that just isn't there in this poor woman.
I consider that to be a lie
    .
Breitbart also edited the Acorn videos to make it
appear that their workers were condoning
prostitution when in fact they were just
plain dumfounded by those two clowns
who invaded their office. I consider that to be a lie.

A blog a few days ago said that Bo had his own plane
to fly to Maine, and the writer did not mention
that the plane actually carried Obama's staff
    and his Secret Service contingent.
I consider that report to be a lie.

If you can't show my opinions to be less
than facts, then you are a liberal liemonger like
    I believe Breitbart mactually is.

If our party is to have any credibility with anyone
outside of our group,we have to weed out the
dandelions and let the flowers of truth blossom.
That's the way to defeat this pretender
    and his evil supporters.
