Good News! Obamacare reversal now has 75% of needed votes
By Bob Unruh, World Net Daily
One of the biggest targets should the GOP regain control of either the U.S. House or Senate in November’s elections, according to many polls, will be Obamacare, the president’s plan that effectively nationalized the decision-making process for health-care issues.
But a little-reported move to begin demolition of the health-care system takeover already is pending in the House and has gained about three-quarters of the support it needs to repeal the law that demands citizens buy insurance or pay financial penalties.
As of last night, the discharge petition sponsored by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, had collected 162 signatures of the 218 it would need to advance – even in the face of continued opposition from Obamacare promoter House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
Under the provisions of the discharge procedures in the House, such a move is required to have the support of 218 members, a majority, of the 435-member chamber before moving forward.
But since it requires a majority, it is virtually assured of approval once it reaches the point of being advanced.

Interesting, especially since the most recent national poll shows that more people favor the health care reform than oppose it. If the Republicans really want to deny millions of their constituents health insurance, rescind prohibitions on denying coverage for pre-existing conditions and dropping coverage for persons who contract serious diseases, then they should go for it. But I believe it will be about as popular as privatizing Social Security.

"Citizens of the USSR have a right to FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE" – USSR Constitution.
The House Committee Investigations of Tax Free Foundations in 1954 found that these Foundations are exept from taxes so that – "they may use their grant making powers to 'alter' (CHANGE) life in the Unites States so that it can be merged with the Soviet Union". That is what has been going on in this country for more than half a century. It is our "federal" PUBLIC POLICY, which is nothing short of TREASON. This is what the DFL party stands for. Compare the DFL party platform with Ch. 10 of the USSR Constituion and you will see that it is identical, some of it word for word.

Lucky you Carol. You are the exception, not the rule.

Oh, Jakob-the-psychiatric patient, here you go again
agreeing with the idiots who spin fabrications.
Carol's case is NOT the exception.
Many insurance policies now in existence
are extremely beneficial for patients.
For instance, (not that it is any of your business),
I had shoulder surgery in January 2009,
and my bill was less than $200. The
surgery was over $2500 and that did not
include the anaesthesia bill.
In addition, my surgeon sent me 3 cartons
of home-made soup while I convalesced at home.
Will Obama's ill-conceived plan match up with this?
Not on your life.
