President Obama couldn’t bring himself to observe the National Day of Prayer or spend time with the Boy Scouts of America,but God forbid,he couldn’t miss the Muslim Iftar Ramadan dinner,or pass up a chance to praise an Islamic center a stone’s throw away from Ground Zero.
He later backed down —a bit.
One has to wonder exactly who is this Barack Obama? Is he the Muslim-educated student who has repeatedly proclaimed his Christian beliefs while finding himself unable to put a foot in a Christian church in Washington he can call his own,or is he an adult still motivated by the Muslim faith he learned and practiced as a young man?
This is a serious question,especially since Obama has gone out of his way to befriend a community,many of whom bear a deep hatred for the United States and a fanatical belief in the inevitability of supremacy of Islam over the United States.
Daniel Pipes writes that the Muslim population in this “country is not like any other group,for it includes within it a substantial body of people who desire,ultimately,to transform it into a nation living under the strictures of militant Islam.”
He cites the case of Siraj Wahaj,a black convert to Islam and the recipient of some of the American Muslim community’s highest honors,who in June 1991 had the privilege of becoming the first Muslim to deliver the daily prayer in the U.S. House of Representatives.
A little over a year later,addressing an audience of New Jersey Muslims,the same Wahaj said that “if only Muslims were more clever politically,they could take over the United States and replace its constitutional government with a caliphate.
Said Wahaj:“If we were united and strong,we’d elect our own emir [leader] and give allegiance to him. . . . [T]ake my word,if 6-8 million Muslims unite in America,the country will come to us.”
This is “the religion of peace”?
Writing in the August 5 Washington Times,Jeffery T. Kuhner warns that the decision to build a 13-story mosque and Muslim cultural center 600 feet from the site of Ground Zero represents the surrender of the United States to radical Islam. He insists that most New Yorkers and Americans do not want this mosque erected and warns that it will be “a symbolic monument to the triumph of Islamism in the Unites States.”
Kuhner notes that the attacks on 9/11 were “committed by Muslim extremists in the name of holy war against the West… [using] the Koran and Islamic principles to justify their actions.” Their ultimate goal,he warns,is “to impose a world Muslim empire based on Shariah law.”
“Ground Zero,” he explains,“is where the war came home to America,” and supporters of the mosque project push forward to make sure “the mosque will cast a giant,dark shadow over Ground Zero,” a constant reminder of Islam’s victory. “If Islamism can impose its will near the site of Sept. 11,then it can impose its will anywhere.”
Unfortunately,it appears that Islam is also imposing its will and casting a shadow over the Obama White House.
A man who has nothing to hide,hides nothing.
It is very unfitting for a president to play fast and loose with something as important as this. He has absolutely no respect for the will of the people or he would have presented the Birth Certificate long ago. His playing childish "cat and mouse"games with all of us shows not only no respect,but no guts to set the whole thing to rest. If he is this childish,who needs a president like this?
Of course he rejected the Boy Scouts,they stand for,honor,and respect "Americanism". Nuff said?

I believe it's time to get over all the notions of political correctness we in America have been brainwashed with the last 10 years…and learn to use our eyes and ears and objectively come back to being able to say what the objective data shows us. The only realistic reason for the pushing for this mosque in this place IS to 'show the world'that Islam is taking over America or some such rediculous notions. why else would they plan the opening on 9-11-2011?? WHY that date???/ Why a mosque in a part of new york city where there are actually very few Muslim living and they would have to travel quite a ways to get there?? Why any new mosque when there are over 100 Mosques already in NYC?? They could turn one of the existing ones into a 'cultural or teaching center'or whatever are the actual words they are calling this.
It's time for people to start to say it like they see it….rather than be silenced by the name calling.
And,while we can SAY that most muslims are a peaceful peoples….their power players do not appear to be,and the peaceful people don't speak out against the ones who want to impose Sharia and/or do terrorism.
This,that is happening is the 'Silent Jihad'….and this proposed Mosque is part of it. That's what I believe.
And finally,to stop the responders from the left right away…let me assure you my thoughts are based NOT on the color of anyone's skin…but solely on his actions or inactions and his words and his character….as well as those attributes for all the other ultra leftist progressives,communists,marxists who are believers of the weirdness going on. Nor am I against any 'peaceloving'Muslims who are minding their own business…and not in anyway being educated towards…or doing any education about terrorism,attacking America or instituting Sharia or any takeover in America of Islam.
JoAnne,you are right! It is the plan and why do you think Obama told the Muslims on his ""virgin visit"U.S. is no longer a Christian nation but Muslim if not a signal that there is now a Muslim in the White House.

Hate to say it,but I have suspected from the very first that Obama was a Muslim plant. I hated myself for thinking it then,but not now. America has been blessed with so much they have become soft and too accepting. Now the world is beginning to think of us as a nation of pushovers (no common sense or guts). It's about time we wake up and realize we have a Judas in our midst and deal with him OR ELSE!
It would seem he was a plant from the first and we fell for it with our being so accepting. WAKE UP AMERICA!
