Liberal talk show host Bill Press equated Glenn Beck’s followers with the 9/11 hijackers,bashed the government for allowing them to gather peacefully on public property,then stood by his words. Things began when Press told his listeners:
In a slap at both President Lincoln and Dr. King,not to mention the American people,the National Park Service has given Glenn Beck permission to hold a Tea Party rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on August 28…If you ask me,that’s like granting al Qaeda permission to hold a rally on September 11 – at Ground Zero.

Ironically,Press wrote a book called,Toxic Talk:How the Radical Right has Poisoned America’s Airwaves,claiming conservative talk show hosts are too bitter. After Joe Wilson told Obama,“You lie!”Press lectured,“This guy,and other Republicans like him,need to be taught a lesson about decorum and civility and respect for the House of Representatives and the office of President.”Now we see who could use a lesson in respect,civility,and respect for our Constitution.
