Barack Obama’s threat to bypass Congress and raise the debt ceiling has stirred significant talk of impeachment —and not just on talk radio. A Republican Congressman has confirmed some of his colleagues are talking about initiating impeachment hearings. Scott Keyes of ThinkProgress.org asked Rep. Pete Olson of Texas:“Congressman Tim Scott of South Carolina yesterday in a town hall said if President Obama were to just ignore the debt ceiling,then he might be favoring bringing up articles of impeachment. Is that something that you’ve heard discussed much among your colleagues?”Olson replied,“A little bit.”Olson quickly pivoted to repeating talking points about the debt ceiling,so Think Progress’s Lee Fang followed up:“So Congressman Scott,is he just a lonely voice or are there a large number of people who are talking about this?”Olson answered,“He’s not a lonely voice.”
Congressman Olson’s statement confirms that a number of Congressmen are discussing a motion to remove Barack Obama from office.

Yes,impeach. Obama's offenses far exceed what is required to impeach. That doesn't mean that the Demn Senate will remove him,but Obama has provided ammunition far exceeding a stained blue dress and he is just daring conservatives to try. Even an unsuccessful removal would provide a public forum of all the reasons he has given us to impeach him,and that won't help him to get reelected. Of course,if George Soros is successful in buying Democrats lots of the states'Secretary of State positions,it will be hard to get an honest ballot count. Even harder than it is now,with ACORN operating under cover with Obama's blessings.
Obama is getting out of hand. He is constantly thumbing his nose at the Senate,the House,and The American People. He must believe that he can make himself dictator,and is proceeding to do so. He can't be impeached too soon. He is not a president of the people and for the people. He is a president of his eglomaniacal agenda to socialize the entire nation. We must have him impeached or for sure soundly defeated in 2012.

I would prefer he be booted out as the fraud he is,but if impeachment is the only other way to get this narcissistic jack a@# out of our White House,then so be it. Only problem is,the Senate is still in the hands of liberals who like the direction he is taking our Country,so they will not go for it,more is the pity.

There will be no action taken either by the contributors on this forum or by members of congress. You must wait for 2016 –after Obama's second term –for any meaningful relief.

Impeachment is the least of what should happen to obama. obama isn't constitutionally qualified to hold the office but through the felonious manipulations of the certification documents from pelosi,obama,and the dnc they were able to vet this fraud onto the 2008 ballot. obama,pelosi,and members of the dnc should be imprisoned for treasonous acts against the US,american people,the constitution,abuse of the high office. There are several article of impeachment that apply to this fraud and should be set in motion. obama is still not qualified to sit the oval office let alone be on the 2012 ballot. That he stooped to felony forgery when he allowed the Whitehouse to releast the forged COLB in pdf form confirmed that he is in fact a fraud. 100's of experts were then allowed to copy that forged document to adobe illustrator and unlock allllllll the layers of alterations.Why is this not being reported?
