Barack Obama is currently on a “listening tour”of the Midwest to bolster his uphill re-election campaign. When two average Americans dared to ask him about his administration’s harsh rhetoric against its opponents,Obama got testy before repeatedly putting his hands on a woman to try to stifle her.
At a Monday town hall meeting in Decorah,Iowa,Obama met two of the millions of Americans who disapprove of his performance as president. Tea Party activist Ryan Rhodes and an unnamed woman asked why Joe Biden was calling conservatives terrorists. The exchange clearly got the best of Obama:

Obama is visibly tense throughout the exchange. Let’s look at that video again,more closely this time. Notice how Obama listens until the woman starts to speak —and then he decides to reach out and touch someone:

Obama showed his thuggish tendencies in this video. The One is the most criticism-averse president in history;the Affirmative Action baby has gotten steadily promoted beyond his competence between orgies of adulation that he is “brilliant”and “articulate.”When anyone raises even the faintest criticism of his efforts,he gets bent out of shape. In this discussion,he could not take the mild questioning anymore and attempted to physically break this conservative woman’s line of thought,physically intimidate her,or at a minimum decided this little lady needed to be steadied because of her little feminine case of the vapors.
Where is the outrage? Where is the feminist movement? Remember the conniption they threw when Rick Lazio allegedly invaded the “personal space”of Hillary Clinton during their 2000 Senate debate?

Obama ended the trio’s encounter with his typical condescension. “It doesn’t sound like you’re interested in listening,”he said. But Obama is the one on a “listening tour.” So,shut up,listen,and get your hands off of us.
This incident invites us to think about a possible scenario in the 2012 presidential race. Imagine for a moment if an unapologetic conservative woman were on the debate stage with him,either at separate podiums or at a town hall-style debate with no barriers between them. Imagine she had the guts to call Obama out for his record of failure and his terrorist pals. If Obama is able to keep his hands off her,he will boil over until he loses his cool in some other way. The flustered president will go down in flames —and the Left’s toughest champion will be beaten by a girl.
Update:This story was picked up by DailyKos by a diarist named qannabbos. Curiously,today we have seen a whole group of new people login,all posting a variation of the same comment:“While I do not support Obama,he did not grab her. We’re better than this! We Tea Party conservatives shouldn’t lie,like racist scum….”The new members then all like each other’s comments. The hate posters on DailyKos lack the subtlety to make their deception stick and lack the civility to lecture anyone about anything.
Barry Soetoro (Obama) had no right putting his hands on this lady if anyone did that to him that would be stopped he just doesn't want to hear what she wants to say.

i agree,and I am not support of Obama at all,but truth is truth! He so obviously and gently laid his hand on her shoulder just as anyone does during conversations in different settings.. Please this report makes you look bad and undermines anything you have to say. I Love Ron Paul and will vote for him. Enough of all these lies. Mr. Obama can serve one term,and that is great,but enough is enough.
If you look closely,the final time he laid his palm on her shoulder,he was trying to put some distance between him and her. He was trying to push back on her,so she would STFU. He's always putting his hands on people,ever notice? Whether he's just meeting them,whether they are in a formal setting and a military setting,he uses his right hand to shake their right hand,and then paws their right shoulder with his left hand. Ewwww……
I don't think this really classifies as an assault on the woman. However,I think what is more telling is how instead of listening to these two articulate people,he does show his disdain by telling them they don't want to listen as he steadily walks away and ignores what they have to say to him on his "listening"tour.
Certainly not a "slap"on the woman. However,if he touched me the way he did her,I may have slapped Him.
I hope that whomever is encountering him in the months to come that they do come hard and fast on his record,as well as his associations over the years. This campaign needs to be very tough. No namby pamby rhetoric like McCain had. Obama will have a very tough time explaining an abundance of his mistakes and his record over the past three years. He won't be able to handle it. We must keep the pressure on him. Sure glad to see this gal coming on hard and strong on him.
I wish Rhodes would have asked him "How did you get a Connecticut-based Social Security number if you never lived there,sir?"

I'm as anti-Obama as anyone (going clear back to early 2008,well BEFORE the election) but I think people are trying way too hard to make "something"out of this when there is "nothing"here. We can dislike what O says and does,and the thugishness of many of his backers,but there was nothing untoward happening in this video. There is plenty of legitimate stuff to critisize about Obama with trying to make mountains out of molehills. This kind of stuff is what will lose you all political credibility,and "Expose Obama"ought to know better.
Ummm,not really. Whether Obama was pawing her or not,it still looks like he was trying to intimidate her into shutting up. He should be respectful of people,not treat them like his subjects,by NOT putting his hands on them. People don't appreciate that. Where does he think he is,in the middle of a street in the Chicago 'hood? Does he think they are "buddies",so he can touch them? Why does he do it? I'm a Tea Partier also,but I can't agree with your premise that he's "grabbing"her to "shut her up"! My minister puts his hand on my shoulder when we meet and have conversation. I don't think this is an assault. You need to be more careful with your accusations. They make you look bad.
