New Department of Homeland Security guidelines tell Border Patrol agents to not to shoot back when fired upon,but to run away instead. If this doesn’t do the trick,they are to “throw things”to dissuade the armed hostile. Hardly sounds like a strategy that will improve security along the border.

I've got a great idea……When the illegals start shooting at the Border Patrol Agent,the agents should throw water balloons at them. That will certainly do the trick and I can see it now….. the illegals will run back across the border and most likely never try anything like that again.
If water balloons don't work perhaps marshmallows would do the job. In a real fight they work best if untoasted. Ah,the days of Jimmy Carter. One tough dude.
