Brad Pitt’s Mother Pens Anti-Obama Letter To Local Newspaper

Brad Pitt SC Brad Pitts Mother Pens Anti Obama Letter to Local Newspaper

The verification comes amid some confusion,as the Missouri newspaper first printed an editor’s note denying any relation between the letter writer and movie star. That was later replaced with a second editor’s note, reading,“To clear up earlier confusion, the News-Leader has verified the letter writer is the mother of actor Brad Pitt and local businessman Doug Pitt.”

The letter —itself a response to another opinion piece in the newspaper justifying Christians’rights to refuse to vote for Romney because he is a Mormon —identifies Mrs. Pitt as “a Christian [who differs] with the Mormon religion.”

But,Pitt continues,“any Christian should spend much time in prayer before refusing to vote for a family man with high morals, business experience, who is against abortion, and shares Christian conviction concerning homosexuality just because he is a Mormon.”

Pitt goes on to write that “any Christian who does not vote or writes in a name is casting a vote for Romney’s opponent,Barack Hussein Obama — a man who sat in Jeremiah Wright’s church for years, did not hold a public ceremony to mark the National Day of Prayer, and is a liberal who supports the killing of unborn babies and same-sex marriage.”

  • My convictions and hopes lie in a much higher scope that we will be delivered from this man,I'll not vote for him,I will simply not do it. Willard has yet to be nominated and there is a growing possibility the convention will be brokered. And why should I be forced to sin by voting for this man when you shoved him down my throat, you should have thought ahead of yourselves I say….

Vote for Mormon against beliefs Christians opposed to Romney should have their views respected.

Is it possible to draw a line between narrowness or bigotry and legitimate differences of opinion?

Christians who want a government that reflects their values believe that God guides and protects their country. Not a few Christians believe that, just as Romney and his supporters are offended by complaints about Romney’s Mormonism,Christians are offended, and believe God could be offended,by the teachings of Mormonism.

Do they have a right to express their view without being immediately shouted down and denounced as bigots,by both the Christian and secular media? GOP leaders who ignore such dissenters risk losing the election.

Mormonism teaches,by the statements of their leaders and sacred writings, what some Christians would consider to be the inherent inferiority of women in the sense that they believe only Mormon men can hold the “priesthood”or rise to leadership positions in the church.

Traditional Christians believe in gender equality. They believe Mormon theology denigrates women.

Many Christians see Mormon beliefs as tritheistic and polytheistic, since Mormons believe the Trinity consists of three separate gods.

Yes,conservative Christians are concerned about Obama’s views on abortion and homosexuality, and understand that Romney appears to share these concerns.

But the conscience of many Christians will not allow them to vote for a Mormon. Like me,their vote will be for none of the above,or as Romney protester the Rev. Bill Keller has suggested, they might write in the name of Jesus on their ballots.

Whether Christians opposed to Romney are denounced as bigots or not,I hope that in America their freedom to follow their conscience can still be respected. And I hope that wealthy and powerful GOP leaders who feel Romney will guarantee their victory will come to see that he likely will guarantee defeat.

None so blind as him who will not see. Have you come to all those anti-Mormon statements honestly,or are you simply echoing what you've been told? It's a rhetorical question. I already know your answer. Seems a little odd that a church could contain Jesus Christ's name right smack in the middle of it,and not be Christian. But,your mind's made up. Don't let facts bother you. FWIW,it's been a LONG time since a great many of us have voted FOR anyone, and have cast most of our ballots AGAINST. And that,my friend,is part of the problem with American politics. Few decent people present themselves for candidacy, and a great many indecent ones, therefore, take their place.

      • Your the blind one dear friend to think that an affiliation or cult or cultist would concern themselves with what they place on their banner. To believe this, then you must also believe Obama is a Christian as well,or Tom Cruise,Cat Stephens even? Evil will not concern it's self with the things of YHVH or of the son Yeshua. How many churches bear YHVHs name upon it,but teaches in the manner of a cult…

Like it or not,the Church of Latter Day Saints, created by the 2cd Muhammad Joseph Smith took from four separate places including the Qur'an and from the Living words of YHVH,either by adding to those scripture or taking from them to build his book, including, from what he deemed or claimed while hallucinating under the effects of drugs or alcohol, spoken to him by the arch angel Michael.

The false prophet Joseph Smith also laid claims that he was told that his jesus descended upon the earth to restore the Church "Mormon Church"when it is a fact that Yeshua came to this earth to be sacrificed in order to restore man kinds relationship with his father YHVH,that who so ever accept the son Yeshua,so will YHVH know of them,to deny the son,is to deny the father and he will not know of you…

How can I be blind when Ruach Hako'desh is my light and his truth lights up my way,the Mormon has no such truths!
So to answer your post,I am not blind and no,I have studied the Mormon book of lies and mockery, and yes,the words within that book blasphemies YHVH and it mocks him,it takes away from and has added to it mans sinfulness and is using YHVHs name in vain,an unforgivable sin…

I'll also add that this was from a web site and that I agree 100% with it's assertions. And I will not vote for Willard Mitt Romney because he's a Mormon,as is my convictions,as it my right. And if he loses,it will not be because I didn't support him,it will be because others wrongfully had!

        Jeremiah 14:14
14 Then the Lord said unto me,The prophets prophesy lies in my name:I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them:they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

        Matthew 24:4-5
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them,Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying,I am Christ;and shall deceive many.

Too bad Mrs. Pitt's commonsense didn't rub off on her son and his wife.
