Harold,Texas started the Guardian Plan back in 2007 to allow teachers to carry concealed weapons. Superintendent David Thweatt says that the school personnel considers themselves the first responders,and they want to be there to protect their children. Of course,they are getting a lot of attention now:

Bravo,with one cavett. They should be properly trained &practice regularily. Also,a sign should be posted stating that the staff are armed. The guns should be carried on the person,if they have to retrieve it,they'll be dead before they get to it. If all schools did this,the incidence of mass school shootings would disappear.
The Israeli's also train and arm their teachers and staff….doesn't seem to bother the students to see the teachers carrying their weapons.
