Police Shoot Two Innocent Female Pedestrians, Blame Unarmed Man

NYPD SC

This one is a gem.

Two of the NYPD’s finest decided to open fire on an unarmed, mentally disturbed man outside New York’s Port Authority Bus Terminal. His capital offense–wandering through traffic.

Though these defenders of the realm missed their target, they did manage to shoot two women who had the impudence to be on the scene.

And now for the MOST unbelievable part of the story–New York’s DA has charged the mentally disturbed man with ASSAULTING the women! As Assistant DA Shannon Lucey puts it, “The defendant is the one that created the situation that injured innocent bystanders.”

So New York City apparently now has a “Situation Statute!” Create a situation that prompts certain NY police officers to reveal their mind-numbing stupidity, and the powers that be will put you in the slam.

According to National Review contributor Mark Steyn, “The defendant is looking at 25 years in jail for the crime of provoking law enforcement into shooting random citizens. If this flies in New York, then there is no law.”

For years, Nanny State, anti-gun liberals have argued that only police officers and government officials should be permitted to carry firearms. You know…they’re just more competent, more experienced, better trained, and clearly more concerned with the welfare of the Serf class than are members of the Serf class themselves! Indeed, right now, New York Governor Cuomo is busily confiscating firearms from New York residents because it’s just too dangerous for extraneous little civilians to own weapons!

Anyone want to give odds on New York City’s new Communist Mayor, or the state’s Marxist governor demanding that these trigger happy imbeciles be thrown off the police force?

Yeah, me neither.
