Do You Think Obama And Other Liberals Could Catch Any Heat For These Racist Comments?

For radical, race-obsessed leftists, merely mentioning ethnicity or skin color – in any context – can amount to nothing short of intolerant bigotry. As a recent example, reports indicate a Democrat state senator from Minnesota feels the name of a particular fish is somehow hurtful to a minority group in the U.S.

John Hoffman proposed changing the name of the Asian carp, which got its name legitimately assed on the region of its origin, to something less offensive to the Asian community.

Based on the left’s own guidelines, it would seem the recent White House Correspondents Dinner was tantamount to a racist rally. Joel McHale took the reins for the annual event, delivering a set of jokes highlighted by the inclusion of one particularly attention-grabbing one-liner.

Speaking about the E! Network, which carries his show “The Soup,” he put forth the following groan-inducing line.

E! is also home to the Kardashians, who, believe it or not, are Republicans. And I know that, because they’re always trying to screw black people.

McHale was not the only speaker to include race in a joke aimed at Republicans. Barack Obama offered his take on the current speaker of the U.S. House.

“These days,” he said, “House Republicans give John Boehner a harder time than they give me. Which means orange really is the new black.”

Of course, the annual dinner is meant to be a lighthearted take on politics; and most people are able to view it in such a light without finding the race-based jokes offensive. The manner in which leftists weave the issue into conversation, however, strikes some as incongruous with their castigation of conservatives who also attempt to discuss the topic.

In fact, just prior to Obama’s joke at Boehner’s expense, he managed to squeeze in a jab against Cliven Bundy, whose out-of-context comments regarding the black community were used by leftist media sources to discredit the embattled Nevada rancher.

The jokes were not all at the expense of Republicans, though. McHale did manage to get in a pointed critique of the ObamaCare website fiasco.

“It was so bad,” he said. “It was bad. Look, I don’t even have an analogy, because the website is now the thing people use to describe other bad things.”
