Breaking: FBI Secretly Building Case Against Bundy Supporters

According to recent reports, the ongoing battle between the government and protesters near the Bundy Ranch in Bunkerville, Nev. is heating up with the involvement of FBI agents.

WorldNetDaily reports that federal investigators have been in the area to conduct interviews with key players in the saga over the past several days – specifically local law enforcement personnel.

Assistant Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo confirmed he was grilled by FBI agents earlier this week.

“The federal authorities are conducting an investigation, and I am pretty confident it is going to go into the future,” he explained.

As part of their questioning, Lombardo said he was asked whether any protester caught on tape pointing a gun at federal or local authorities would be punished.

He responded that there “is definitely going to be consequences” for what he described as “unacceptable behavior.”

Metro Police Sgt. Tom Jenkins said he was also contacted by FBI officials. He too expressed displeasure with the presence of armed protesters at the ranch.

“You saw kids and women and horses in the backdrop and then men with guns, laying on the ground, in the back of pickup trucks. We’re going ‘Wow, this would never happen in Las Vegas.’ But it was there. That is not a rumor. It is reality and I saw it with my own eyes.”

Of course, the protesters have expressed their own grievances against authorities they feel used excessive force in an attempt to collect a debt from rancher Cliven Bundy. Those gathered at the ranch – many of whom belong to state militias – claim that federal agents used intimidation and threats in their occupation of the area, which led to the influx of even more protesters.

In all, Bundy said more than 40 complaints have been filed against the Bureau of Land Management over its actions last month.

After what many considered a successful demonstration leading to the dispersion of BLM agents, it appears another federal agency – the FBI – is preparing to pick up where they left off.
