Obama Makes Terrifying Admission About Released Terrorists

In trading five dangerous Islamic extremists for one American who had potentially collaborated with our enemy, Barack Obama has ushered in his administration’s latest scandal.

As Western Journalism reported, there are several disturbing aspects of the deal made to facilitate the return of Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Perhaps the most shocking is the combined rap sheet of the five deadly terrorists unilaterally released by Obama without requisite congressional notice.

Sen. John McCain suggested the quintet could have been responsible for thousands of terror-related deaths. Obama himself added to existing concerns with a shockingly candid admission about his own handiwork.

“Is there the possibility of some of them trying to return to activities that are detrimental to us?” he asked Tuesday. “Absolutely.”

He explained that such a risk exists with “all of the prisoners that we released from Guantanamo Bay,” noting that “a certain recidivism” is associated with these released terrorists.

While that might seem to be an obvious admission, it fails to explain why he was so anxious to set these dangerous individuals free that he could not even run the idea through the proper channels.

“I wouldn’t be doing it if I thought that it was contrary to American national security,” he claimed.

Obama suggested the trade was “conditioned on the Qataris keeping eyes on [the released terrorists] and creating a structure in which we can monitor their activities.”

As a Reuters report out of Qatar explains, though, the nation is allowing the five dangerous individuals to live virtually unimpeded by any governmental restriction.

One source said they can “move around freely within the country.”

Not only are Qatari forces maintaining a hands-off approach to the men; the insider said that there will be no U.S. oversight of their movements within the nation, either.

After one year, the official confirmed they will be free to “go back to Afghanistan if they want to.”

Meanwhile, our nation is left to face the increased threat of their release while trying to ascertain exactly why they were freed in exchange for the America-hating Bergdahl in the first place.
