The woman who may be Barack Obama’s next chief-of-staff has ties to radical Muslims, radical leftists, and potentially illegal government propaganda.

Chicago Mayor Richard Daley’s decision not seek re-election all but ensures that Rahm Emanuel will throw his hat in the ring. Emanuel currently serves as chief of staff to President Obama, the man who controls who gets access to the president. Politico.com reports that Rahm has told sources his likely successor is Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s long-term friend and Chicago confidant.

Anyone familiar with Jarrett’s record should be concerned.

To pick but one underreported example, Valerie Jarrett gave the keynote address at the 46th annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) last July. ISNA was an unindicted co-conspirator in the trial of the Holy Land Foundation’s financing of terrorist organizations, particularly Hamas. ISNA is a byproduct of the Muslim Brotherhood, the organization that formed the worldview of Ayman al-Zawahiri and Osama bin Laden.

Although Jarrett was the highest-ranking government official at the meeting, she was hardly the only VIP. Cat Stevens, now Yusuf Islam, addressed the same gathering. Stevens is the “Peace Train” folk singer who defended the Ayatollah Khomeini’s fatwa against Salman Rushdie after the latter dared criticize Islam.

Another of the speakers, Imam Warith Deen Umar, has a long history of Islamic extremism. He reportedly hailed the 9/11 hijackers as martyrs, a remark that got him banned from the New York State Department of Corrections, where he served as a chaplain. In another instance, Umar urged Muslims to:

Rise up and fight. And fight them until turmoil is no more and strike terror into their hearts…[T]he kuffar [unbeliever] was not afraid of the Muslims up until a few days ago now they frightened to death. Green alert, red alert, orange alert. The Muslims are praying. They getting on our planes, they may shoot us down. They scared to death. Alhamdulilah. [Thanks be to God.]

Jarrett has kept tight company with ISNA literally since day one of the administration.

Seeing his popularity diminishing before his eyes, Barack Obama sought comfort in the steely arms of Big Labor yesterday. The most criticism-averse president in history whined that it was “special interests” who opposed his agenda — and these people were not very nice. Looking deliberately into the camera, he tried out a down-home phrase to show solidarity with the union rabble. “They talk about me like a dog,” said the Cornpone Kenyan. “That’s not in my prepared remarks,” he lied, “but it’s true.”

By recent standards, he’s lived a charmed life. His left-wing friends in the anti-(American) war movement are not in the streets comparing him to Hitler or calling for his assassination. Glenn Beck’s crowds gather to pray.

But there may be a reason he receives less than universal adulation, even occasionally scathing remarks about his job as president: he deserves them, and a Hell of a lot more.

This president has elevated members of the radical Left to the heights of power. He selected “Green Jobs” czar Van Jones, the 9/11 Truther and Marxist, who also believed Hurricane Katrina might be an inside job. His current Science Czar, John Holdren, has written in support of compulsory abortion for American woman and absorbing our national soveriegnty into “A Comprehensive Planetary Regime.” The man entrusted with enforcing justice, Eric Holder, once sought Bill Clinton’s pardon of Marc Rich, believes America is “a nation of cowards,” and is busy dragging tough sheriffs to court while letting Black Panthers get off scot free.

Obama has placed the most precious document in our nation, the Constitution, at the whim of judicial activists. His followed up his first Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor, who believes convicted felons should have the right to vote, with Elena Kagan, an outspoken advocate of supplanting the U.S. Constitution with foreign law. Kagan’s judicial heroes include Cass Sunstein, Thurgood Marshall, and insane Israeli Aharon Barak.

No one on the Left, however extreme, is unwelcome in the Obama White House. He has accepted at least $50,000 from Democratic bundler and Code Pink founder Jodie Evans, who has since enjoyed close personal access to Obama and other White House personnel.

His closest advisers are, if it is possible, further Left than he is….

The organization that brought Barack Obama to Chicago as a “community organizer” is ready to launch a new voter registration drive. Voters have reason for concern, since the organization often hires ACORN members to perform its registrations, its activities have been investigated by the FBI, and its board members include one of the originators of the Cloward-Piven strategy.

Voting For America, “an affiliate of the voting rights nonprofit Project Vote,” plans to “help” more than 50,000 students in seven states register to vote. The Sierra Club has contracted VFA to perform the drive on its behalf.

The states targeted are such battlegrounds as Ohio, Colorado, Nevada, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Oregon. Each state high-profile elections looming in November.

Executive director Michael Slater said Project Vote created VFA this year “as a means of making the systems, strategies, and tools we’ve developed available to other organizations.”

Share the stealth.

Among the “services” VFA “will contribute” are “legal services,” presumably when its registration cards are challenged in court. Their history assures they will be.

Voter Fraud

The FBI investigated Project Vote and ACORN as part of its inquiry into the massive registration of non-existent voters. Judicial Watch obtained handwritten notes FBI officers took during interviews with the staff. (The two work in close tandem.)

One interviewee told the FBI, “Project Vote will pay” six dollars per voting card, “fake or not.” Why would the group want fraudulent cards? Thankfully, the interrogators literally spelled their reasons out, in longhand (and I quote):

A radical left-wing activist has confirmed Republican charges that the Obama administration runs an extensive and potentially illegal propaganda campaign from the White House. We noted yesterday that Rep. Darrell Issa’s House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform issued a 36-page report noting that the president has used taxpayer dollars to finance “a sophisticated propaganda and lobbying campaign” made up of “inappropriate and sometimes unlawful public relations and propaganda initiatives.” Often, this involves “covert propaganda,” in which officials ask others to repeat White House talking points without mentioning their connection to the president. Evidently, 36 pages was not enough. The committee missed an event.

Sally Kohn wrote in The Huffington Post yesterday that she attended a May 12, 2009, meeting in which multiple Obama administration officials asked the radical Left to promote its legislative agenda.

I reported on this “cultural policy” summit called by Valerie Jarrett nearly a year ago. Dozens of the most extreme activists on the left-wing’s fringe met in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building with eight Obama administration officials, all of whom report either to Jarrett or First Lady Michelle Obama. The meeting’s summary noted that “more than 60 artists and creative organizers…came together for a White House briefing on Art, Community, Social Justice, National Recovery.”

Among other things, Kohn confirms Jarrett was present, although the meeting’s notes tried to airbrush her out of the summit.

The Obama administration officials made it clear they wanted the fringe leftists to help shape the president’s agenda, then promote the Obama party line. Tina Tchen, who works in Jarrett’s Office of Public Engagement, told attendees, “The administration wants to sustain energy from the election process and turn it toward the agenda.” Buffy Wicks, who would later take party in the infamous NEA call, “asked briefing participants to think through how their networks and organizations can participate in areas such as the arts in education, healthcare and preventative care, energy and environment, or economic opportunity.”

The activists then broke into groups to “ideate” on how to best promote the president’s legislative agenda. Michelle Miller of the SEIU suggested participants: “Create a counter narrative to the Luntz memo/Republican talking points designed to destroy health care reform. They can offer creative, humorous voices that can think outside of white papers or New York Times op-eds to communicate effectively about the importance of health care reform and diminish the increasing attacks on our movement for reform. For example, the satirical webisodes SEIU is producing with comedy writers with content from Lutz [sic.] memo.”

Sally Kohn’s panel lamented the failure of the 2007 amnesty bill but hoped, “Artists and cultural organizers can play a critical role this year on helping advance the legislation, as well as over the coming years helping bring the humanity and personal/family stories of the issue to light.”

Kohn revealed yesterday that this meeting was the beginning, not the end, of the radical Left’s collusion with Obama. “The White House convened a weekly meeting called ‘Common Purpose’ at which DC progressive organizations were invited,” she wrote. At these Common Purpose meetings, “the White House dictated its agenda and appealed to the professional left for back-up.”

In other words, Obama administration officials, led by Valerie Jarrett, have directed a year-long covert propaganda campaign from the White House aimed at securing support for its agenda from the most radical elements of the political spectrum.

Kohn is no right-winger. She is a self-described “Jewish lesbian” who once wrote a diary entry on DailyKos entitled, “Why I Have a Little Crush on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.”

Neither were the other participants anything but beyond the pale. The invitation list included several associates of Van Jones and a number of left-wing conspiracy theorists who believe the CIA sells crack in minority neighborhoods.

Perhaps the worst example of the people Obama is willing to play ball with is someone who calls herself “Rha Goddess.” Rha’s biography describes her as “the former International Spokeswoman for the Universal Zulu Nation.” That group teaches “The Bible has been tampered with and must be reinterpreted” in accordance with the Koran. Its manifesto teaches its members their opponents are “a race of Devils,” whom they “should fight in The Name of Allah, Jah, Jehovah, Eloahim, The Creator, The Most High Supreme One, God.”

Kohn’s revelations should provide fresh fodder for investigators, and a clear window into the radical bent of this administration.

The question we should all ponder is: Which is more frightening, the Obama administration’s covert propaganda campaign or the anti-American extremists they got in bed with in order to execute it?

President Obama has expanded the very small group of top aides who are given the privilege of taxpayer-funded personal drivers — who take them from their house to work and back home again each day — to include two top political advisers.

The Bush White House did not give the same privileges to any of its political advisers, according to former Bush administration officials. There is a record of the Clinton White House doing so once for two months, according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller.

Valerie Jarrett and David Axelrod, both senior advisers to the president, have been given the luxurious and prestigious perk of being picked up at their homes and driven to work or around town throughout the day in government vehicles chauffeured by military drivers, according to a list of those given the benefit provided to The Daily Caller by the White House.

In addition, Jarrett has been made a “protectee” of the Secret Service, a spokesman for the agency said. It is not clear to what extent Jarrett receives protection. Neither the White House or Secret Service would comment on the matter.

“We don’t discuss the scope or nature of protection for any Secret Service protectee due to operational security concerns,” said Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan.

But except for a few weeks after 9/11, political advisers to Bush such as Karl Rove did not have Secret Service details with them except for the rare occasion where they gave a speech where protesters were expected.

Obama's Advisers attack tea partiers

A simple booklet explaining President Obama’s health care and economic policies may help those in the tea party movement better understand White House initiatives, suggested Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest advisers.

Jarrett blasted the tea party movement as an “anti-government” organization that thrives on scare tactics.

Jarrett made the comments last week at a John F. Kennedy School of Government forum.

At the event, an audience member compared the tea party movement and anger at Obama’s policies with people who initially resisted computers because of their “failure to understand” the new technology. The questioner explained simple booklets eventually helped to educate the public on computers. He asked Jarrett whether “much simpler” booklets could be produced for tea party supporters.

Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich and Obama were friends

Rod Blagojevich’s lawyers want the FBI to give up details of interviews conducted last year of President Obama, his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, White House adviser Valerie Jarrett and others as part of the investigation into the former governor.

In a Friday filing, Blagojevich attorneys also asked for information regarding first lady Michelle Obama. However, a source said late Friday that the FBI never interviewed the first lady.

Then-President-elect Obama, Emanuel and Jarrett sat down with the FBI about a year ago — just after Blagojevich was arrested on charges of trying to sell Obama’s recently vacated Senate seat to the highest bidder.

Obama revealed he was interviewed in a report he made public last December.

The defense request, filed in federal court, asks for “notes, transcripts and reports” of interviews with the Obamas, Emanuel, Jarrett and union chiefs Thomas Balanoff and Andy Stern.

Was Valerie Jarrett, one of President Obama’s closest advisers, introduced to the president’s political circles by her father-in-law, a communist sympathizer who worked with the radical Obama mentor Frank Marshall Davis?

Jarrett reportedly interviewed Obama’s former environmental adviser Van Jones for his White House position from which he resigned this past weekend. WND exposed Jones is an admitted black nationalist and radical communist.

Jarrett defended Jones after his appointment in March. She stated in an interview that the White House staff were "so delighted to be able to recruit him into the White House."

"We were watching him, uh, really, for as long as he’s been active out in Oakland. And all the creative ideas he has. And so now, we have captured that. And we have all that energy in the White House," she said.

In the vicinity of Oakland, Calif., Jones founded several radical organizations, including the communist revolutionary organization Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement, or STORM, as well as the socialist-oriented Ella Baker Human Rights Center.

Fox News yesterday reported the White House said Jones never filled out a seven-page questionnaire the Obama team previously touted as necessary for incoming administration officials, leaving some to speculate Jarrett may have been instrumented in pushing Jones through.

Jarrett’s family background and her initial introduction to Obama may tie her to Jones’ radical ideology.

Obama with two subpoena targets, David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett

Sweeping federal subpoenas of Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s administration include requests for records involving David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett, senior advisers to President Barack Obama.

Among 43 subpoenas released by the Blagojevich administration Friday, one from Dec. 8 seeks notes, calendars, correspondence and any other data that relate to Axelrod, Jarrett and 32 other people and organizations.

That was the day before the FBI arrested Blagojevich, a two-term Democrat, on charges that he tried to trade his appointment to replace Obama in the Senate for campaign contributions. Wiretapped conversations show Blagojevich thought Jarrett was interested in the seat and he wanted campaign money or a high-paying job in return, according to a sworn statement.
